Test Environment Design
Having utilised various Test environments over the years, our staff have a breadth of experience that enable us to determine the right volume, style, and complexity of Non-Production Environments (Development, Testing, Performance, Staging, or otherwise) to support the current and future needs of the organisation.
Environments are designed with consideration to existing processes, such as Change Management and Release Management, the maturity of the organisation from a testing perspective, the available budget, and the expected utilisation of the environments. Specific services that we offer are:
- Modern environments based on virtualisation that allow for efficient allocation and utilisation of resources
- Environments that can be self-provisioned by Testers in real time utilising Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS)
- Strategies for maintaining consistency across all environments
- Recommendations and/or defined processes regarding the level of rigour applied to each environment to enable changes to be made while not compromising quality
- Procedures for patching and maintaining the environments
