Nathan Bligh
Founder & Chairman of the Board

Nathan is the Founder of Informatech and operated as the Chief Executive Officer for 8 years. Nathan oversaw the establishment of Informatech as a highly sought after consultancy within the Defence and National Security sector. In 2023 Nathan was recognised as the Prime Minister’s Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year, as well as the AIDN Executive of the Year.

At the end of 2023, Nathan stepped up to the role of Chairman of the Board and continues to provide strategic direction and drive growth whilst adhering to good corporate governance practices.

SCOTT CLEBURNE
Co-Founder

Scott is a co-founder of Informatech and has supported the growth of the business since its inception in 2015 using his experience gained within the Information and Communications Technology industry. Scott has spent a large part of his career contributing to major projects within the Defence and National Security domain as a technical expert in test and evaluation.

Scott’s early involvement in Informatech revolved around ensuring that the quality of staff and services provided by were of the highest standard, to enable the business to grow in a controlled manner into the respected market leader it is today. As a result, Scott has a keen understanding of the business and what makes Informatech stand out within the industry.

Currently, Scott sits on the Board as a Director.

AMANDA LAX
Co-Founder & CFO

Amanda is a co-founder of Informatech and currently holds the Chief Financial Officer position. Amanda has in-depth knowledge and experience of company operations and contributes to the Board with financial reporting and forecasting. Amanda is an expert at managing the rapid growth of the company and establishing financial and strategic risk frameworks to guide operations.

In 2023 Amanda received an ADF Silver Level Commendation and the ADM Research and Development Award for her work within Defence to establish health research priorities and a strategic framework to guide research over the next 5 years.

Amanda sits on the Board as a Director and also holds the position of Company Secretary.

AIRCDRE (DR) MARK LAX OAM, CSM (Retd)
Advisory Member

Dr Mark Lax is a retired senior Air Force officer with over 30 years of experience in strategy, organisational planning, and policy development. More recently he was member of a Government appointed administrative tribunal for eight years and is currently a member of the Legacy Australia Board of Directors. He joined the Informatech Board as an Advisory Member in 2023.

Mark is a graduate of the Australian Company Directors Course, the Universities of Melbourne (BSc) and NSW (MA(hons) and PhD) and was a previous International Fellow at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. He also holds a GradDip in Management Studies.

ASH HOWDEN
Advisory Member

A former journalist, Ashley’s career has traversed digital agencies in London in the 1990’s through to the media and software industries with multiple successful exits. Across numerous CEO roles, most recently as CEO of Australian IT services provider KJR, he has helped lead privately-held companies through their growth phases. An experienced non-executive director and board advisor, Ashley now works with a portfolio of companies across Asia-Pacific.

Peter Bull
Advisory Member

Peter is a retired Senior Business Executive with 23 Years’ experience with Thales and Australian Defence Industried (ADI). Peter brings extensive experience in Business Leadership, strategy, and governance in the digital sector. Prior to Thales, Peter spent 12 years in the RAAF focused on financial accounts. He joined the Informatech ADvisory Board in February 2024.

Peter is currently a board director for Mollymook Golf Club and has previously been a board director for Sapura Thales Electronics (STE) Malaysia.
