Responsible for delivering digital transformation outcomes for the Department’s Foreign Investment Division. The program will deliver a collection of new IT systems to manage the government’s foreign investment framework.

Energy-related data (generation, supply, consumption, etc.) is provided by energy suppliers, regulators and monitors across Australia and ingested into a system for downstream analysis and reporting using Business Intelligence.
Dept of the Treasury – Strategy Development
The purpose of this project is to provide an Enterprise Test Strategy for the Treasury. The deliverable/s will encompass strategy relating to:
• Test practices for software and infrastructure
• Enterprise test tooling
• Enterprise automation processes, including integration with Azure DevOps
• Test data tooling, security and processes.
Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) – Election Systems Modernisation Program
The Election Systems Modernisation (Indigo) program represents a shift in approach to develop a citizen-centric, agile technology platform. The capabilities include business integration activities, overseeing supply chain and temporary election workforce, and enterprise service management to ensure the ongoing integrity of the electoral system.

DHA – Infrastructure Operations Support
Informatech provides a variety of different Infrastructure Operations Support, spanning Internetworking, Storage, Database Administration, Virtualisation, Voice Networks, Standard Operating Environments (SOEs), and more, to Defence Housing Australia. Servicing a large number of customers, the environment is moderately complex and always seeking to take advantage of improvements to technology, both hardware and software.

Moving all local databases and applications to the cloud.
Civil Aviation Safety Authority – myCASA
External facing, web-based portal for users to access CASA applications and services such as updating organisational details, applying for pilot’s licences, register drones, notify of fireworks displays, and many other functions.
Dept of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry – Import Management System
IMS deals with the cargo entries received to Australia every day by Air and Sea. Home Affairs receives the cargo, creates an entry for each item and sends it to IMS to do the assessment on each item.
Dept of the Treasury – Payment Times Reporting Scheme
PTRS allows large businesses to submit reports through a secure portal using ATO’s MyGovID and Business Authentication Manager (BAM) for authentication and authorisation. The system is currently hosted in the Microsoft Azure Cloud environment. The project involves a Web (PTRS) portal – To lodge the report and applications , Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) – For Treasury to store and process the reports and applications and PowerBI – to publish the report for the general public.
Dept of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry – Portal and Assessment System
Delivering a digital environmental assessment system replacing the current legacy Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conversation system. It is designed to reduce the regulatory burden on organisations proposing major infrastructure projects by making it easier to engage with the environmental assessment process and reduce the duration of assessment decisions.
Dept of Health – Aged Care Gateway Program
The program is adding functionality to MyAgedCare to automatically allocate Assessments depending on workloads of organisations and outlets. The outcome of the project is to expedite assessments for clients seeking Residential Care.
Dept of Jobs and Small Business – Windows 10 SOE Upgrade Project
Upgrading the legacy Windows 7 SOE and associated applications to security hardened Windows 10 SOE, with support for modern applications.
AFSA – Infrastructure Refresh Project
To replace ageing and out-of-date hardware, with considerations to improve operational efficiency and future capability of the infrastructure platform for Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA).
ACT Corrective Services – Information Management System Project
CSIMS will provide essential capabilities such as security controls and audit logs to track system users’ activities, offender and detainee risk assessment, triggers, and alerts, which are critical to enable informed decisions around detainees in custody and the offenders that are in community corrections.
AEC – Next-Gen ECL Project
The AEC Next-Gen ECL project is a technology and application refresh for electronic voter mark-off and management tasks during elections.
Civil Aviation Safety Authority – Infrastructure Review
Informatech was tasked with undertaking an assessment of the Infrastructure environment with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) on behalf of the Chief Information Officer. At a high-level, the scope was to review the infrastructure environment, identify risks, investigate areas for improvement, draw conclusions and provide recommendations.
AirServices Australia – OneSKY Australia Program
The OneSKY Australia Program is the most complex transformation of air traffic management in Australian aviation history. It’s a partnership between Airservices and the Department of Defence, replacing existing air traffic management systems with an advanced integrated system known as the Civil Military Air Traffic Management System (CMATS). OneSKY was established to deliver more efficient air services, support future air traffic growth and enhance national security. The program will deliver more than $1.2 billion of economic benefits to Australian airspace users over 20 years.
AEC – Ballot Paper Reconciliation System (BPRS) Project
BPRS has been designed to assist the Central Senate Scrutiny (CSS) staff to fully reconcile the number of ballot papers in each Vote Collection Point in each state as the votes are being counted. BPRS will import and store all ballot paper preferences, to be used in the distribution of preference by EasyCount Senate. It will track progress of an electoral event, states, and vote collection points, and will highlight potential reconciliation concerns.
Home Affairs – ASD Top 4 Project
A project to implement security enhancements to make Home Affairs compliant with the mandatory ASD Top 4 strategies to mitigate targeted cyber intrusions, with compliance status reported annually.
