ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT
Management of all Engineering activities from very early in the lifecycle (e.g., pre-Gate 0) through to project closure, including development of all documentation (OCD, FPS, SEMP, etc.), leadership and mentoring of all staff, oversight of all engineering activities, leading Mandated System Reviews (MSRs), status reporting, and handover of artefacts to support organisations.
ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN
We have a number of highly-experienced and skilled Architects that cover solution architecture, enterprise architecture, and solution design, ranging from understanding the business/project vision, framework development, solution evaluation and comparison, trade-off-analysis, technical design, governance and assurance, understanding and maintaining compliance with regulations, and Design Authority activities.
SYSTEMS ENGINEERING
All aspects of Systems Engineering ranging from developing system definition documentation, concepts of operation, modelling, requirements traceability, solution evaluation and comparison, trade-off-analysis, governance and assurance, compliance with regulations, Reliability-Availability-Maintainability (RAM) Analysis, Safety Analysis, and Design Authority activities.
WINTEL ENGINEERING AND ADMINISTRATION
Our experience covers a variety of Wintel Engineering and Administration activities spanning Task Sequences, Imaging, Building and configuring Servers, Standard Operating Environment Development, Active Directory, Virtualisation, Group Policy, File Services, Print Services, Drivers, PowerShell scripting, and many others, covering all phases in the lifecycle from design, through to build and implementation, and ongoing support.
*NIX ENGINEERING AND ADMINISTRATION
All aspects of *Nix Engineering and Administration covering Unix-like operating systems such as Linux, Unix, Solaris, AIX, RHEL, SELinux, and some others. It includes things like Image Development, Developing Secure Operating Systems, Containerisation, File Services, Print Services, Drivers, Bash Scripting and many others, covering all phases in the lifecycle from design, through to build and implementation, and ongoing support.
NETWORK ENGINEERING AND ADMINISTRATION
With a team of strong, dedicated network specialists we have the capability to undertake all elements of network design, build, implementation, and support during the operations/BAU phase. This spans all devices and appliances from gateways, switches, routers, firewalls, proxies, and others, as well as other things like VLANs, Software Defined Networks, Network Management Software, Quality of Service Management, and many others.
STORAGE ENGINEERING AND ADMINISTATION
We have a team of dedicated storage engineers with the capability to undertake design, build, implementation, of storage solutions, as well as support them during the operations/BAU phase. This includes things like physical storage, logic storage, storage partitions, SAN, virtualisation, aggregation, hyperconverged infrastructure, and many others.
SOE ENGINEERING AND ADMINISTRATION
We have extensive experience with SOE Design and Development having been heavily involved in multiple SOE projects, both for fixed networks and deployed networks, for the Department of Defence over the past 6 years, including virtualised desktops. Services span all activities through design, build, implementation, deployment, testing, and support, across all elements of the SOE.
DATABASE DESIGN AND ADMINISTRATION
All aspects of database design and administration from covering schema design and normalization, creating database views, writing SQL queries, data migration activities including ETL, infrastructure services such as building database servers, administration and tuning, software patching and upgrades. Throughout the entire lifecycle from design through to build and operational support.
CLOUD COMPUTING + IaaS & PaaS SOLUTIONS
Our team has extensive experience with Cloud solutions for customers covering both Public Cloud and Private Cloud. This covers a variety of technology platforms and solutions, including developing and deploying cloud computing platforms for the Department of Defence for both fixed and deployed networks.
MANAGED SERVICES
Provision of scalable technical resources across all disciplines to support organisational requirements. Resources scale up as demand for services increases and ramp down as demand decreases. All staff management, pastoral care, security clearances, onboarding, mentoring, support, training and development is managed by Informatech.
SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
Informatech maintains a small team of software development specialists with broad experience in the design, development and update of complex systems using a wide variety of languages and tools. Our team can support with both detailed systems design and can also augment existing software development teams within either corporate or secure Government projects.
