Informatech acquires AGEMA Group

Further securing their position as a leading provider of national ICT Consulting Services

On the 15th of August 2022, Informatech announced the acquisition of AGEMA Group, a government focused consultancy specialising in the provision of Project and Program Management services within the ICT sector.

The move to acquire the business first started in 2021, as Informatech recognised the complementary nature of the services that they provided, and the alignment of their focus on achieving real value and positive outcomes for the wide range of clients that they partnered with in the private sector, government and Defence.

This acquisition is an integral part of Informatech’s continued strategy for growth enabling us to offer an even wider range of capabilities to our customers, including architecture design, transition management and ICT service delivery.

AGEMA group bring more than 35 years of collective experience delivering large scale software and ICT projects and will reinforce Informatech’s capabilities in project management, commercial management, architecture and sustainment services.

They are responsible for the program management of a complex rollout of FIE (2273) and ICT systems to Defence data centres within Australia, including managing and overseeing a multi-vendor team of over 80 personnel.

They also have a wealth of expertise in transformation management, providing transition, transformation, and sustainment planning to the Navy ICT modernisation program. The program includes developing the acquisition and sustainment approaches, support model, workforce plans and commercial agreements for the program.
